About this component

This is the component the whole system is named after. The chain flexes in two planes, so a single loop runs from the infeed, around a horizontal bend, up an incline and into a packing station without a transfer anywhere along it.

Every transfer removed is a handover that no longer has to be tuned, and a place where product no longer falls over.

Chain type is selected for the product rather than the conveyor: plain top for general handling, friction top for inclines, cleated where product must be held, steel top for hot or heavy parts.
