About this component
The heavy series takes the loads a machine frame or a conveyor support actually sees, in the same modular system as the light profiles above it. A base frame in heavy section and a guard surround in light section bolt to each other on shared hardware.
It is the profile to reach for when the alternative would have been welded steel: comparable stiffness, no weld distortion to straighten out, no paint to chip, and a structure that can be taken apart and rebuilt somewhere else.
Reinforced and multi-slot sections are listed in the catalogue for spans and gantries where deflection is the governing number.
